City-level Aerial Survey

A aerial photogrammetric documentation project was undertaken for Chalai Market, one of the oldest and most vibrant trading hubs in Thiruvananthapuram. The survey aimed to capture the unique spatial fabric, architectural character, and layered histories of the market precinct. Using drone-based aerial mapping and ground-level photogrammetry, high-resolution data was collected to generate accurate georeferenced models and imagery.

The outputs provided detailed insights into the dense built environment, circulation patterns, and urban morphology of the market, serving as a vital resource for conservation, urban analysis, and future planning initiatives while preserving the cultural identity of this historic commercial precinct.
